A task force formed in 2014 to work on a statewide fatherhood initiative. The purpose of the group is identifying ways to engage fathers in the early childhood education of their children. The Task Force will identify resources and activities to improve fatherhood engagement in the state of Arkansas.

Mission

The Arkansas Fatherhood and Family Initiative: Fathers Engaged and Empowered to Learn (FEEL) strengthens family foundations and reverses the “absentee father” trend by assisting fathers with the challenges of parenting, as well as, increasing their skills in building and maintaining healthy family relationships.

Vision

Arkansas fathers have positive family connections and are engaged in their child/children’s education and in their lives.
